About Us

Cater Business Park is a vibrant South Bristol location providing a base for a variety of businesses. It is a mixed ownership Park comprising both owner/occupier business units and tenant occupied business units and enjoys a high occupancy rate. It has the benefit of good organization, where businesses have an input into the future development of the Business Park. The Park is situated in a prominent position with good access links in an active regeneration area of the City of Bristol that is undergoing significant public and private investment over a range of capital building/development projects, new schools, hospital, housing, leisure and business units.

Our Vision - All involved in working on Cater Business Park are committed to a Vision to see it become a leading Business Park in South Bristol.

Securing the Future - Starting in 2001, a six year programme of environmental improvements and security measures and the employment of an estate manager on Cater Business Park kick started progress towards our vision. These were funded as part of the wider regeneration programme of Hartcliffe and Withywood, managed by HWCP and supported by the South West Development Agency.

Business Improvement District (BID) Status Secured - The achievement of Business Improvement District status has been central to fulfilling our Vision and maintaining the impetus of Park Improvements following the ending of the Securing the Future project.

What the BID Programme Comprises - The BID Programme will run to April 2012 and operates under the following four themes:

  1. Security and Crime Prevention
  2. Environmental Improvements
  3. Business Support and Park Promotion
  4. Park/BID Management
